This 1948 Cadillac Series 61 Club Coupe is finished in maroon over a color-coordinated interior and is powered by a 346ci L-head V8 paired with a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes an analog clock, a heater and defroster, 15″ wheels, and rear wheel skirts. The car was reportedly refurbished under prior ownership and was acquired by its current owner in 2018. This Series 61 Club Coupe is now offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a spare set of Kelsey Hayes wire wheels and a clean California title. The two-door Club Coupe or “sedanette” features fastback styling as well as exterior details such as a “Flying Goddess” hood mascot, a split windscreen and three-pane back light, rear wheel skirts, and twin P-38 Lightning-inspired tail fins with a concealed fuel filler on the left side. The exterior on this example was refinished in Madeira Maroon during previous ownership according to the seller, who notes a scratch under the driver's side rear window imperfections on the front bumper as depicted in the gallery. Steel 15” steel wheels wear chrome wheel covers. Wide whitewall tires are mounted at each corner, the trunk contains a full-size spare covered in a carpeted cover. The brakes were reportedly serviced in 2019. A spare set of Kelsey Hayes wire wheels accompany the sale. The cabin is finished in maroon upholstery with cloth accents and color-coordinated carpets and trim. Equipment includes a heater, roll-up windows, and an analog clock. The seller notes the fuel-level gauge is inaccurate and the radio does not work. The machine-turned instrument cluster houses a 110-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer displaying just under 90k miles, approximately 900 of which have been added under current ownership. The 346ci L-head V8 is equipped with a single downdraft carburetor and produced 150 horsepower when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission.
