It had the P code 292 cubic inch V8 engine with 193horsepower from the factory and has most other parts that looksstock.It has a factory cast iron intake, four-barrel carb, Thunderbirdsspecial valve covers, and what appears to be all other factoryengine components, with the addition of a chrome open element aircleaner.This motor exhales out of the cast iron exhaust headers into thedual exhaust and the V8 is backed with the automatic transmissionwith chrome shifter and underneath is as clean, painted, anddetailed as up above. It runs and drives exceptionally well.InteriorThe brand new black and white interior consisting of the whitebench seat and matching door panels was re-upholstered and looksstunning with the dash in black with factory gauges, radio, andcontrols, black/polished steering wheel, black seat belts, and thechrome floor shifter.The restored interior has the look that it did coming right out ofthe showroom back in 1955.ExteriorThere are no other 1955 Thunderbirds that are more desirable thanthis white over black T-Bird. The chrome really sets theThunderbird apart as does the wraparound front bumper, wide meshgrille, subtle hood scoop, and the twin tailpipes integratedthrough the rear bumper guards.It has chrome spoke wheels and raised white letter Cooper CobraRadial GT tires and they look good with either the wheel wellfender flares or without both will give it the final correct looktoo.The trunk is restored and the black convertible top looks greattoo.
